Code of conduct for reviewers
The reviewers of manuscripts sent to Portuguese Journal of Dermatology and Venereology (Port J Dermatol Venereol.) undertaketo observe and act following the principles of responsibility, integrity, confidentiality, impartiality, and objectivity, and they will carry out their work as reviewers with absolute transparency.
In any case, potential conflicts of interest must be declared. Editors should be aware that the use of artificial intelligence for manuscript review may constitute a breach of confidentiality terms. Reviewers must seek permission from the editor-in-chief if they wish to employ artificial intelligence tools for manuscript review.
